Guided Scrambling

Overview

This option is ideal for anyone who wants to be guided on some fantastic scrambling routes anywhere in the UK. The day/s out will be fully tailored to your needs so whether you’d like to do specific ‘classic’ routes or try scrambles at a chosen grade, we can do it. We only offer this course privately as from experience we have found this to be the best way of ensuring you get the right course for you. Our private course option gives you the ability to choose the course dates, location and whether you’d like to attend on your own or with a friend. Below are some examples of the guided days out we have run:

  • Welsh Classics – Crib Goch, North Ridge of Tryfan and the Snowdon Horseshoe

  • Lake District Classics – Striding & Swirral Edge, Jacks Rake and Pinnacle Ridge

  • Scottish West Coast Classics – Curved Ridge, Tower Ridge and the Aonach Eagach traverse

  • Cuillin Classics – Full ridge traverses, Pinnacle Ridge, The Clach Glas to Bla Bheinn traverse and the Inaccesible Pinnacle

£250/day + £25 per additional person

Course Ratio

Maximum Client to Instructor Ratio: 2:1
 

We run this course with a maximum of two clients to one instructor. If you’re interested in guided scrambling for three or more please select the  number in your group below and fill in the pop-up form so that we can get back to you with options.

Lake District, Snowdonia and the Highlands of Scotland
 

These locations boast some of the best scrambling in the country. With amazing mountain views and varied scrambling, these venues provide endless options for giving you great mountain journeys and scrambling experiences. They tend to be the most popular areas for guided scrambling days, however we are happy to provide guiding in other areas – simply let us know what takes your fancy when you enquire.

We are happy to take you scrambling at anytime of the year, come rain or shine. We are confident we can deliver an enjoyable experience regardless of the weather. If however, you know that you would like to stack the odds of warmer and drier weather in your favour then you might prefer to book a course between March and November.
