Cat Charlton

Cat holds the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor and International Mountain Leader awards, the UK's two highest qualifications. She is the founder and director of Adventure Expertise and manages the business alongside running courses and guiding.

Cat's passion lies in encouraging people to engage in outdoor activities and giving people the confidence and skills to take themselves further. She's built outdoor organisations which break down those barriers and provide the highest quality courses possible.

Cat is one of the UK's leading instructors, having worked all over the world guiding and running adventurous courses for many years. She left a career in law in to work in the outdoors, setting up and growing a successful not-for-profit company which has had a leading role in developing industry best practices in outdoor activity management and introduced tens of thousands of children to genuine adventure (www.adventure-expeditions.net).

She is a fun and engaging instructor who cares about delivering her best for people. What matters to her is that the people she takes out feel comfortable, get everything they want out of the day and go home with big smiles and great stories to tell.
